What is the container desiccant?

When you require your products to arrive at their destination in a safe and dry environment, desiccant bags are your moisture prevention solution to extending the longevity of your packaged goods. These actively attract moisture from the surrounding air which reduces the risk of cargo damage due to condensation.

Why do we use desiccant?

During the ocean transportation or storage of containers, or when returning, they often experience high temperatures and strong temperature changes between day and night. The temperature changes will be between 0-8 degrees Celsius, and the humidity will be as high as 98%. This is the condensation phenomenon. When the temperature is 30 degrees At that time, the water content in the air was 30.4g per square meter. When the temperature drops from 30 degrees Celsius to 18 degrees Celsius, water vapor will condense into water droplets. If a 40-foot container is used, 1,000 grams of condensation water will be generated, causing "container rain".
